BOS is a base because they got to reduce pilot excess Credit. They should’ve added 320 or 220 already. The crew room is in E concourse, which it means we will not see any more pilot bases there.
You do know that there is a pilot lounge already built in terminal A, right? It’s been used for storage for years.
Recently they have cleared most of it out and have started doing some renovations. No one seems to know why. If they want a lounge in A, it won’t take long to get it.
Also, the current lounge in E is temporary and will be replaced by a new one inside security.
There’s a bunch of rumors about what may be coming to BOS (more growth) in the next 1-3 years or so, if the additional real estate materializes.
