Those premium Econ seats are nice. I was in deep economy with a 3-4-3 config on a 777. Painful. This was also in 2011 timeframe, so cabins have mostly improved since then.
I recently flew on a UAL 777 in whatever the economy upgrade was—it was quite comfortable compared to the Euro airlines coach.
