It’s not “buzzwords”, if you want I can pm the novel I sent the union with all my asks. “This company is too cheap”, “ they will never pay us industry leading or give us the best work rules” so sick of hearing this out on line. Hold there feet to the fire vote no on the first ask, if they want any of this done quick they have to make it worth our while. If not I could care less how long this takes.
Again, industry leading doesnt really mean anything. Do you just want the most of everything? Take what everyone else has, make it bigger and slap a yes vote on it? I have no doubt you have real context to the buzzwords but that is really all they are without the context, and they are even more meaningless when said on APC. You writing the reps is perfect.

I remember hearing that rhetoric too during the last merger. So many AS pilots told me that it is one or the other. I don't believe in that logic. We can have our cake and eat it too 100% and there is no excuse this time, that is for sure. I think the reality is that most of us want the same thing but we also need to think of things that are specific to our new emerging airline once this merger is complete. For example, the red herring is the Amazon flying and we need unique and robust language surrounding that entire operation. To me when I hear industry leading, I hear that we want to boiler plate and add 5% to it and I don't think that does us justice.
