Watching the presentation, the majority of the reps seem to think those pilots leaving because of the increase will be offset by those joining. I think this is flat out wrong.
The math doesn’t math for anyone who is healthy and not looking for early retirement. Bottom line, the program now is needing healthy younger pilots to subsidize payments to other pilots who are out on leave.

I never opted in to begin with and definitely won't know. To increase the monthly benefit by 1.01% while the monthly premium goes up 122% points to an level of incompetence that is (nearly) unfathomable. Also hilarious it took outside consultants to point out this issue.
