But overall I don't remember any koolaid service. It was a good course in the sheer number of resources available to you, how to use them, and a view from some of the other departments we work with every day. The people who developed it really seemed to care about it being a valuable event.
I agree. I went through one of the first DCLC classes and found it useful as a refresher to the vast amount of resources you have available. Also getting what the other departments are actually do help you if you need it. I actually welcome this once every 5 years because of the refresher of the resources. I also don’t remember much koolaide being served above the “we want to be the best and give you the best resources” To the poster above that “can’t imagine doing this for the next 20 years”, seriously? It’s 8 days over the next 20 years.

I am “local” (about an hour drive on a good day) and I am not pleased about the VA Ave part. It really disappointing that our entire company and training facilities are in such a crappy place but that’s a different discussion. I don’t know how Delta can do anything about other than pressure the local gov to do something about it.
