I appreciate the intent here, and I 100% support hiring every single NK furloughee, and giving preferential treatment for any NK pilot. ALPA should work tirelessly to ensure fellow ALPA members are taken care of whenever possible.

But giving up DL PWA protection and significant leverage for pilots not currently on DL's seniority list? No, sorry. But absolutely no. That currency is reserved for use by DL pilots.

It's an academic point, and meaningless in the real world anyway. Besides, the idea of the company trying to extract something of value from us to 'take care of' furloughed/distressed pilots is disgraceful, IMO.
