I once lived on a ship for a very long time in a less than clean environment and somehow avoided getting the double dragon despite everybody including my roommate having it. It runs rampant through shared enclosed spaces where people are digging in their butts and not using proper hygiene. I have always been a fastidious hand washer, though, so either that saved me or I am just somehow immune. I am honestly amazed I didn't get it. I saw a lot of grown men completely laid out by it.
