You're assuming that base swaps and AE awards happen at the same time, which nobody (that I'm aware of) has suggested here. The swaps would be independent, and ideally subsequent, to an AE award.
I’m all for looking making things more flexible for people, but are we really going to ask the company to eff up the implementation of something else, settle the inevitable grievance and have them violate that as well?
