This is so on-brand for UPS. I'd bet good money that one little lever didn't get flipped through the carelessness or inattention of some HR drone, and now this guy who really wants to work specifically *here* is cooling his heels while we run classes full of dudes who would have gone to Delta (or whoever) if they'd called first. And there's basically nothing he can do. It's maddening.
