That’s really why I was trying to draw attention to the “competitive” phraseology. I think the person asking the question is confused as to bare bones minimums and competitive minimums.
……of course minimums be they competitive or not are very fluid……but 1000 SIC……I’m not sure that even would be competitive for like JetBlue, Alaska, Southwest and Frontier…..sure wasn’t when I got hired at one of those granted it was a different time.
If he has an in, he has an in……and as we know LCP golden ticket recommendation can make you really competitive but it won’t be because of one’s aeronautical experience.
