JetBlue was under no obligation to buy you, but the guys who led Spirit were supposed to make money.
Seems like your anger should be directed squarely at them alone.
Spirit would likely have been coupled up with Frontier right now if Jetblue didn’t sabotage it.
Whether that would have been good or bad, we won’t ever know.
Some of the blame goes to Spirit’s horrible management, some of the blame goes to Jetblue sabotaging the merger with F9, some of it goes to the shareholders that voted to merge with Jetblue instead of F9, and some of it goes to the DOJ.
