Social Security, LTD, Medicare, etc are all systems we pay money into it. Its our money. Just because some government entity acts as a go-between doesn't mean its "socialist". Its not free. We are paying for it up front.

The top 5% of wage earners pay 61% of all income taxes. That's everyone over $260k which is probably everyone here that isn't a new hire.
