We have time. There will be oil in the middle-east tomorrow, and most likely the day after that as well (albeit, overpriced!). Dealing with this issue should be like working an emergency in a Jet: Sit back, see what's wrong, take a sip of tea, take another sip of tea, and then work the QRH. We can't rush into anything with so much at stake.
