220 is an Airbus in name only. Some jokingly called it a “Canabus”, since it’s really a Bombardier, bought by Airbus for reasons beyond the scope here. There is not, and never will be a common type with the 320 family. Or any “3XX” Airbus. There is a reason it starts with a “2”.

Side note: DL has just gotten FAA approval for a short course to go between the 320/330/350 types, if you stay in the same seat, but will always maintain them as separate categories. There are a low single digit number of people who maintain currency in multiples of that group, and they are Senior SLI or Mgmt pilot type folks.

Thank you Sir!
