For the assessment, commonly called the "Hogan", the thing is to answer consistently. There's also this: you are going to see these questions: I want to be a scuba diver. I want to be a deep sea diver. I like fast cars. I want to be a race car driver. For scuba and fast cars you answer yes, for deep sea and race car you answer no. It shows that you're interested in cool/fun things, but not an over-the-top risk taker.
For the actual interview I used Emerald Coast for both American and United and got hired at both. Well worth the $400.
