While the Hogan test used to be a jeopardy event for getting an interview, that is no longer the case. If you’re getting the assessment then an interview will follow. Your total score on the hogan will be part of your “total package” score (app, hogan, interview, etc).

The sure-fire way to drag down your hogan score is to answer how you think they want you to answer, or try to “build” an image of yourself through strategic answering. It’s a personality profile - Essentially, you will answer the same bank of questions types multiple times asked in a different way each time. Just answer each question truthfully each time and give them an accurate assessment of who you are.
