TC Report does trigger flight crew legalities, however, numerous things can make a pilot no longer legal for the rotation from TC generation to rotation award. Hence, a final FCL check whenever a rotation is placed on your line in iCrew.
This sounds like we need more transparency around the trip coverage report. We see the same names repeatedly on the 23M7 log. You would think if the halts were done closer in to report time, then they would be randomly further down the list and not stop coverage on certain names repeatedly as they skip to IA. Also, why would they not add me to the 23M7 report when they admit the omission? By not reporting me correctly they set up a bias that the report is correct and complete or that the senior with a slip was named and no further investigation is necessary. They don’t go back during the pay case and run a legality test when and where the decision to shortcut the 23 O coverage ladder happened.
