Actually it would not necessarily mean taking all Spirit pilots. Look back to when PanAm was failing and Delta chose to take only their European operation. Essentially Delta took on only enough pilots to cover the PanAm planes that were brought over. And they did not necessarily come over in order of seniority. Those who came had to be current on one of the planes that were acquired. Anybody who was on the 747s was out of luck.
