They have significant brand loyalty there so that strategy makes a lot of sense. I think it will work out well. Hawaiian also has brand loyalty in their primary markets and I think they are smart enough to keep it. It looks like a good tie up to me and should be accretive to earnings.
Alaska also partnered with Bilt the rent processing company who is based in NYC and processes 5+ million units rent. A significant amount of rentals exist in NYC
