"Our" diets are not dogpoop. I eat pretty healthy, and yes I can feel the difference. I'd be in favor of massive restrictions on processed food, (the west euros do get that right).

Yes, I know one too. Marathon runner, navy officer, ex-enlisted marine, keeled over dead in his 40's while an active member of a special operations unit. Didn't want to take the meds, was very aggressive about diet and exercise but it wasn't enough given his numbers.

And just because we make really good money and have the means to eat well, it absolutely does not mean we do. I used to get so much crap as an FO from CA's for packing my own food. "Oh wow what a cheap a$$, go buy a proper meal". Nevermind the fact that if/when you do find healthy options, portion sizes are often much bigger. The amount of us that do proper weight/resistance training with proportional amounts of ACTUAL cardio, eat healthy, avoids alcohol and puts effort towards maintaining a healthy sleep cycle is likely very small.

Again I do all that, and so do most of the folks I fly with (who are mostly all old).
But that's why I want a *representative* study. I don't know but I suspect the age is too low. Or maybe it's too high, let the chips fall where they may
