For the uninitiated, hockey notoriously pessimistic. (He famously complained it took him 16 years to upgrade, then later admitted he waited to always hold weekends off with choice trips).
They also preceded that
underwhelming hedge with: hiring for “planned retirements and regular attrition.” There are 506 retirements next year, and we typically see an extra 10% on top of that. NOWHERE did it say anything about shrinking. WTF?
Regardless, you are missing the point. DL is hiring very soon, interviews next month. Folks looking to move on need to have the app in to get the call.
