That UA and AA don’t want them doesn’t mean that nobody wants them.
The most (only?) successful ULCC (Allegiant) has a business model based largely on using prior-gen, cheap/depreciated airframes on a low-utilization basis (no flying on Tue/Wed/Sat).
The other incumbent ULCC (Frontier) is moving hard in that direction and could use some depreciated Airbii on peak days alongside its NEOs while it parks them on trough days.
And that’s just the domestic market. I have no clue what will come of NK or these airframes but all I’m saying is never say never.
