Even all the FA groups are begging for more money now.Trying to do that, in this environment, highly unlikely.
The only regional that seems safe are the WOs, SkyWest and Republic.
For everyone else , I think their days are numbered anyway.
Speaking of G7, I heard that big daddy UA isn’t very happy because those old 700s breakdown a lot , lots of issues. Just something to keep your eye on as UA continues to pump cash and ac into mesa/ republic on the 175s. Kirby is very strategic. Plays chess ,while others play checkers. He might have another move up his sleeve , hence all the strategically planned moves.
Starting from an existing certificate isn't from scratch. If UA was upset enough with G7 they would have pulled the plug a long, long time ago. Like you said, these CEOs are strategic, they’ll keep the whipsaw alive and grow it even if the smaller regionals have poor reliability. MESA, G7 are proof of that.

There are a ton of people waiting over a year for a class date at SkyWest. Some of the Spirit pilots that don’t make it on with a legacy will be interested in DEC jobs. There is more demand for RJ jobs than actual RJ jobs out there. The fury of the regional whipsaw will return. Mark my words.
