The retirement age shifted from 60 to 65 in 2007, a change that hosed many of us midstream. That precedent shows rules can and do change, so I have no reservations about admitting my self-interest in wanting those old coots to retire. I’m as driven by personal gain as they are, and I see no need to cloak my position in moral superiority.
