By the standards of the 21st century Uni-Party? No.

By historical standards? FDR? Lincoln? Johnson? Pretty tame actually.

I'd be careful taking too much for granted the stability we've enjoyed in our lifetimes. We've been watching pretty interesting events, mostly from pretty comfortable seats.

Our grandfathers got to see some events too, but they were in the ring, not the bleachers.
