Culture *might* be a good topic, but ONLY if you can elaborate in detail and are familiar with the history and current official corporate core values (I can't help you with that
). Helps if you know somebody(s) so you can plausibly say that you like what you hear about the culture.
Looks like the OP might be military... if they ask how AS can succeed, DON'T start telling them how to grow international route structures, etc. As an airline line-swine cog in the machine, you role in success is operational safety and reliability, and complying with the core values.
OK to discuss domiciles if you're interested in PDX, ANC, or SEA. Given that there are no strict assurances as to the future of Delta's SEA science project, you can probably say that you're more comfortable with your long-term career prospects with AS in SEA (especially now, #787s). Even better if you have demonstrable personal ties to one of those zip codes.
They can't ask, but if you're planning on doing guard/reserve in or near one of those bases, they might view that as a stability plus... you don't want to be commuting when you have two jobs.
