As far as the ASAP/NASA etc thing, none of you are trained psychologists. You're in no position to determine cognitive ability. You all brush off experience like it doesn't matter, but you were hired at a major airline for just that - your experience.

I’m sure we’ve all flown with people who, particularly in the sim, are way beyond their prime in handling the aircraft. It doesn’t require a psychologist to know that it’s time to take the keys away from some people. The only way to keep that in check is by a general age or changing the way we assess performance.
