We are still awaiting another position bid. The most junior captain to upgrade in my base was a 2007 hire on the last upgrade bid. We have hired a total of 20 pilots in nearly 2 years. 85% of them Horizon and 15% military. Unless you were 55 or younger at the time of the merger announcement, you’ll never touch a 787.

Do with that information what you will. It’s not all rainbows and unicorns but it’s what’s happening. As to future promises made about growth I’d keep your expectations in check.
Should we keep going? 1001 reasons to go to Delta….

- Attrition as of Sept 1: 54, Hired 20 = pilot group is currently shrinking.
- Unstacking = Oct 74%, Sept 62%, Aug 98%!
- ALV’s driven down to minimum to create more low credit lines and fewer reserves. Less reserve coverage = less schedule flexibility (2022 CBA is a bust)

This should be its own thread but it’s important for people job hunting to have good info. I didn’t.
