- ALV’s driven down to minimum to create more low credit lines and fewer reserves. Less reserve coverage = less schedule flexibility (2022 CBA is a bust)

This should be its own thread but it’s important for people job hunting to have good info. I didn’t.
Not sure why Jetperson or whatever their handle is had to mention me. I don’t care if people want to work here or not.

All I have done is pointed out what is actually happening with deliveries and growth. Another fun fact I failed to mention is that there are 55 pilots senior to me looking to upgrade in my base 70ish senior to me looking to upgrade in PDX. I didn’t count up the other bases. I’m close to 8 years of seniority. It’s fairly easy for potential new hires to do the math on “career expectations” and progression.

The only bright spot is it seems as if the 787 program is now moving the correct direction. The shadow factory at PAE is closed. The Lufthansa airframes are finally moving. The production rate may support the 787 claims made by mgmt. How much that helps our a 737 pilot is TBD. This won’t apply to new hires but it’s no secret Widebody goes senior everywhere.
