Default Charters Ops vs. 121

Ok so I have an interview coming up with a 135 Charter and Air Ambulance company and have a couple of basic 135 questions as most of my knowledge is of 121 ops.

Typically do 135 flight crews do flight planning and filing or is a dispatcher required like 121?

Do most 135 operations have plates in the planes or do pilots still lug around the 40 pound flight case?


Typically how does pay in the long run (i.e. after upgrading) compare to airline pay or fractional pay?

I realize that 135 alot of these answers vary from company to company but I'm just trying to get a general idea.
