On topic but also slightly off... What's the obsession with pilots here always wanting to turn the radar off as soon as they can? Think we're getting radiated? Trying to 'save' equipment life? Maybe it's coming from the military but the idea of turning it off never came up
I turn it off on approach if not required because it’s the most commonly missed item on an FOs after landing flow. Like 95 percent of the time.
