For union (and APC) purposes the S word means one very specific thing, crossing a union-designated picket line to work.
To use it for anything else dilutes the meaning. If you're already a "scab" for every little thing, CBA legal OT pickup, regional flying, etc why bother honoring an actual strike?
THANK YOU. We have two very special groups here at FedEx. The senior “pull up the ladder and screw everyone else” crowd, and the junior “first airline riled up by my buds” crowd. Both ignorant, caustic, and a detriment to negotiations in their own way.
