Yeah not enough UAL flights to support a stand-alone domicile and traffic makes SAN quite a bit further in reality from the LA basin than it looks on the map. Could be a five hour drive LAX-SAN at the wrong time on the wrong day. That's if the 5 doesn't blocked by an accident.
