Their work rules (Program and Policy Handbook) Chapter 12 states "Passengers will be offered their choice of entree first, followed by the crew" as well as a note stating something along the lines of there will not be a “CREW” or “PILOT” designator on the entree's as these entrees may be used for a customer choice first, if needed....these two bullets is why the FA's have the 'pilots get whatever is left after PAX pick first' mentality.

Well, okay. But what Hockey said was told/shown to him was not that it was Pax>Crew, but rather Pax>FA>Pilots.
So, if FA’s are saying they get choice before us, they are making that up. (Note: it does not say pilots get choice before FA’s either, though I submit it
should. In fact I submit we should have UA language where we get to preselect from more than 2-3 choices…).
