International Consensus
ICAO working papers (Canada WP106, IATA WP349) show broad support for raising the pilot retirement age.
Seven of ten ICAO Class 1 Council states representing nearly half of global passenger traffic are already on record in favor. The U.S. could become the eighth.

I found the snippet about 7/10 being in favor misleading. It sounds like Brazil, UK, New Zealand, Canada, and Australia are ready to vote now to raising the age.
However, according to WP/291 (dated 29 Jul 25), presented and sponsored by above countries, they believe more data needs to be collected. There are inconsistencies with data collection according to the aviation medicine survey. Section 3.3 ends with suggesting a re-examination of raising the pilot age after a few years of data collection.
It will be presented before the IATA WP/349 (which also suggests data collection) the LEPF is praising on Thursday.
