this works. After 3 years any and all retirements that would make any difference in current pilots seniority progression for an age change are over.
That's probably about right at the Big 3. I think a few places like WN have a wave that's a few years farther out. 2 years isn't a LONG time but it will feel like it if it's the difference between getting an upgrade or getting off reserve.
