In essence, be yourself. ECIC should show you how to present yourself and apply your career story into what you're being asked. If the interview team gets the whiff of you coming across as non-genuine and canned or even worse lying, that's probably the fastest way to get a TBNT. They really want to get to know you. If you deny them that, well... that's on you. The job is really yours to lose. We don't have quotas of say how many they have to interview. They'll make it very clear that they can hire every last one that day, or they can hire no one, but the job is indeed yours to lose.

the running joke regarding EC was that too many candidates came through the interview and told their story about the amazing customer service interaction they had on their way to Dallas with “Diane the customer service agent” or whatever she did…the same name was used frequently enough that became the tell. EC emphasized interactions and remembering names…and it morphed into a joke when the same employee worked all over the country. Not sure if that’s still a thing but it was years ago.
