Presently they're actually called 'CHIEF STANDARDS CAPTAIN". For decades they were called "Fleet XXX Lead Line Check Pilot". Then they were called "Chief Line Check Pilot" You morons will parse they most freakin' insignificant stuff here. You know what I meant.
