Fixing 23M7 is lipstick on a pig. Until this current PWA cycle it was never an issue. Time to sort out the coverage process whether that entails altering the reserve rules(which I think would help and I think many would be open to with the SC fiascos, etc), or mandating proper training of schedulers, etc.

I’ve been told by very intelligent folks in ALPA that the alteration of the reserve rules in this current PWA, drive a tremendous amount of the failed coverage sequences.

Id be totally fine going back to our old reserve rules. 18hr LC has backfired in my opinion.
So compliance is not a thing and we should just make deals that benefit their chosen behavior? They have the tools they need, they CHOOSE not to use them. We gave them an accommodation that doubled the lead time for assigning open time. The CHOOSEN method for implementing ARCOS is what is the problem. If they are going to use massive batch sizes then people will take all proffers and the time to evaluate them. If they company is willing to go back to individual calls for GSs and 24 open time coverage then sure we can go back to the past. That won't happen.

I don't think you've done RES under the old or new system and have no understanding of reserve. I think the coverage impact the company has CHOOSEN has negatively impacted you and now you choose to opine.
