There’s a resignation video. No idea who made it or what their actual intentions were but the video plays like the FO rep is saying “There was an investigation into misconduct that came to light after ALPA leadership had members go to bat for me at my recall vote and it’s so bad that ALPA is now telling me that I must develop personal issues from this past year and resign” and the SecTres is saying “I too have been part of misconduct and now have developed personal issues and resign”.

It sounds like the FO rep was a rising star before whatever happened to spark his resignation came to the forefront. It takes a fair bit of ALPA effort and maneuvering to drum up enough support to show up to a recall vote meeting and change the actual vote from a vote of recall for dereliction of duty to a vote confidence. Only to turn around a week or so later support his resignation…the whole thing is wild.
