That's way up. I don't mind paying for representation and contract enforcement but I feel I'm also paying for a lot of steak dinners and drinks for people who have weaseled their way out of flying the crap trips they think I should fly because I'm not senior enough yet, son. So I'm in favor of starving that beast. They can use the extra they make picking up premium to buy their own dinner.
ALPA is paying their top 3 national officers $2.5M or so. It's hard not to see that as an utterly absurd extravagance.
