When the company sends a rotation for GS they are accepting the fact they are going to pay premium pay. The company shouldn’t get a discount on that when a RES picks it up part/all on LC days. PB days still would only be due for violated X days.
3. Reserves should be able to convert golden X days back to regular X days at any point at their own discretion.
4. Reserves should have more X day move flexibility as long as the X-99-X rules are maintained. In other words they should be able to move days from the middle of blocks, not just the end, and be able to create new X day blocks with a move.
Totally agree with your #4 there. Never understood why this wasn't done already. I put that in my contract survey too BTW.
The rest, meh, might be a bridge too far, but we'll see what the MEC & NC think about as I'm sure many put stuff like your 1-3 in their contract surveys. I want decent increase in pay rates. I want NB pay banding. I'd like to see negotiating capital spent there more so than some minor-ish improvements to reserve rules (#4 though, that's one that needs to get done this time around).
