How do you see it as huge? Sick on reserve days is extremely miniscule in the grand scheme of things and I can't imagine it would save all that much sick leave for a given pilot throughout the year. It would be a much greater benefit if we had the accumulation model of 60 hours/year. But given that we quickly get 200+ hours of sick leave that resets ever year, it seems like it would be wasted capital. Not trying to be argumentative, just trying to see why it would be so huge.
