I am pretty lucky that I sleep decent in the day time. I did long distance commute, did night shifts before I started flying too, and it did seem that most seemed to have a harder time. Having said that, obviously the reason the junior guy was doing those is because nobody wanted anything to do with that. Was just making the point that is that you really don't need to cross a lot of time zones to have a crap schedule, and that even if you cross 9 time zones in 5 days, the actual schedule isn't necessarily that bad....
