Ok, then APA pilots can vote "no," if such an option even presents itself. I'm sure APA is overplaying its hand in these negotiations with ALPA, so there may not be a merger to even vote on. Probably for the best. APA pilots can keep paying a lower dues rate, ALPA pilots can keep paying a higher dues rate, and we'll see who is more successful and will actually raise the bar in the long run. The sad part is you think paying more in dues money equates to a "better" CBA.
DAL, FedEx, and UAL are all paying more than their "fair share" in order to keep the entire ALPA structure going.
