And the truth about historic hiring is, yes, a lot of the hiring since 2016 was due to attrition and the nasty environment created by toxic management during the last contract negotiation. However, prior to 2016, there was a huge surge in hiring, particularly for the 767 in anticipation of the Amazon contract (which was also unbeknownst to the APC world).
The best advice here is, if you're really interested in Atlas, wait for an application window to open and make the application. Continue to update every six months or as your resume changes. Good luck.

The usual suspects who create these rumors have been 100% wrong, 100% of the time.
The ones who actually know what's happening aren't talking. As of now, the expectation is no new hiring until end of next year. But if a carrier comes to us and offers a 10-plane CMI deal, we will start hiring like gangbusters the next day.
