The harm is that timing is an important element of negotiations. I have received four calls for draft in the last week. Same for Airbus.
Personally, I think his lack of unity with his former NC team and accepting a position that our own policy manual advised against says something about him. That could be political, but I don’t think it is.
But if we come out of this time of growing leverage and accept a fraction of backpay for 4.A.2.c and he slides student lines in there, then we squandered the leverage we had before peak. That would amount to a huge loss and a wasted period of negotiations. That’s the harm. If you don’t have a problem with that, then you didn’t have a problem when it was JG.
