I think by virtual airline is that it would be fairly simple to divest MCHoldings of the compass portion fairly simply. IF and thats a big IF the Mesaba / Pinnacle rumor is true its probably because the NWA/DAL merger guru's are looking for cash. Dont think for a minute they wouldnt get rid of Compass as well. In the end its all about MONEY and if they need it they will sell it if they have buyers for one or the other or both. Just remember in the end we are pilots and fly the planes.
