Based on previous reports their leases are too expensive and their business model ensured they owned very little. 475 mil with 200 up front and the remainder in installments based on metrics does not appear to sustain them for long.
Completely agree. There is nothing NK offers that another airline can’t do organically and cheaper. As NK shed routes, those voids were quickly filled by others. Keep in mind that NK management has to talk big to keep hopes alive for employees and investors. Bottom line is that NK continues to burn cash. Travelers are wary and their route structure has diminished greatly. I will be surprised if they make it until spring.
