It won’t be straight DOH because of what happened to TWA/AA and would burn 80% of Frontier pilots. It won’t be straight RS because that would burn 80% of the spirit pilots. So it would be a blend with career expectations taken into account. An arbitrator would decide. Our pilot groups are almost the same size now. There’s not a chance a bottom of the list spirit pilot gets placed above 50% of the F9 pilot group. Not going to happen.
All doesn’t matter anyway because attrition at both companies is likely to be sky high and this assumes a merger of which the SLI would be years away. You’ll be fine. Just keep applying to United.
Yeah it would be a mess, but not as bad as people think.
Even if NK pilots were below a lot of F9 pilots, I think they would be happier to have a job than anything.
But I still don't think we are merging, but we will see. We have our earnings coming up and we have the rest of the year coming with hiring, new planes, and our new interiors, ramping up flying in certain bases and hopefully getting better. (Hopeful is a keyword)
At this point, I just want a 2 year contract length with MRA/snap up every consecutive year
